"antique Hunting Expeditions: Vintage Shopping Travel Insurance"
"antique Hunting Expeditions: Vintage Shopping Travel Insurance" - About two weeks ago I decided to go on a short weekend trip to the nearest city and so far (it's not very far, especially not Graz, but somehow I can never go there) - Ljubljana. As the owner of my own business and a vintage lover from the first minute, I think I can't deny that I love vintage clothes. That's why finding local vintage shops and thrift stores in a new city is always at the top of my to-do list. So today I want to show you my favorite places to find the best money treasures in Ljubljana, enjoy!
This wonderful vintage store was just around the corner from where I live, so it was the first stop on my tour. Divas Vintage Store is definitely more on the funky and chic side of vintage clothing. In addition to sweet blazers and super soft silk jackets, you'll also find a great selection of vintage pieces. They even have their own men's section!

It doesn't matter if you're looking for a simple, but quality, everyday dress or a cute vintage dress for a special occasion (the red dress from the video is definitely a must-see ;)), Divas will surely make you It's covered!

I found a beautiful blue silk that may be the softest fabric I have ever owned. Along with all the beautiful antiques, I also had a nice chat with the store owner's daughter, who was working at the boutique that day. He gave me great recommendations for things to do and see in Ljubljana and interesting sights to see in the city.
Let's talk about the money: Generally, the stores are in the low to mid range. Here you will definitely find the most expensive pieces (my blazer was only ten euros, but it was marked on the back because of the color). For special items and designer clothes, the price is a bit high, but it is affordable and very reasonable.
The second stop on my vintage tour was the second Moji Toji store. Although it is a bit hidden in the courtyard, it can be easily found due to its large sign and location, which is one of the main pedestrian streets of Ljubljana.
These stores combine the interesting concept of selling products not only at fixed prices, but also by kilos. The last store room accommodates two floors of retail space. Every Monday all pieces are replaced with new vintage items. The price of kilos fell every day, falling to the lowest point in the week, which is more than double from Monday.
Best Second Hand And Vintage Clothes Shops In Paris
Stores generally welcome new second-hand items and other vintage items. During my visit I tried a few parts but nothing. Even though the overall selection was sometimes "new" to me (if you can call it that), I'll definitely be back to hunt down some great vintage pieces. The price varies from low to mid and is definitely affordable!
Gwant's second store is what you might call Ljubljana's antique shopping. Although it is located outside the city center from the main shopping area, it is easy to reach by bike in 10 minutes. This!).
At first I was a bit confused because the shop said it was at home, when I got there it was completely empty and nobody was there. Don't let that first statement fool you. You have to go down and walk through the corridor until you reach the end and enter the entrance to the second warehouse of Guant.
The store immediately reminded me of an American supermarket, or a smaller version of it. For long-term clothing, you can find a variety of second-hand and vintage items. Gvant Second Hand also maintains an additional section where vintage pieces from the 80s, 90s and more are collected and displayed to help visitors find real gems.

So if you are looking and love to find vintage treasures I can only recommend this shop. It may seem difficult at first, but if you want to see good things, you should ignore this fact. The prices are also very low!

Plus second hand will definitely be one of the reasons (besides the best massage I've ever had) why I return to this beautiful city. Unfortunately, I could not find the exact opening hours and wanted to visit the store on Saturday, when it is closed.
However, because of his Instagram profile, this is definitely a vintage store I want to visit (well, I can easily get swept up by a good social media feed). And, in addition to cute and sweet vintage treasures, the store also offers amazing artwork from local artists (pretty cute right?).
So if you go to the store before I do, be sure to tell me if you liked it in the comments (I'm always up for good insider news ;)).
The city of Ljubljana organizes a weekly flea market. If you love antiques and fine furniture, this is definitely the place to be, but if you're looking for vintage clothes, this might not be the place for you.

The lovely lady at Divas Vintage told me that buying vintage and second-hand clothes is unfortunately not as popular in Ljubljana as it can be in other parts of the world. Therefore, local flea markets offer only domestic goods and more.
However, there may be sources of fleas in the Slovenian countryside that have not yet been identified. So if you have information about this type of treasure hunt, don't forget to let us know! :)
This is my guide to Ljubljana, I hope you enjoy it! Comment if you have updates or additions to the various stores, or if you want to spread the love. Have a nice day! On Fridays and Saturdays, Constance Pelzer and Harold Zopec quit their day jobs but don't dress up. Always dressed head-to-toe in old-world clothing, these old-timers take on the last silent era to create a film noir at the Galenchik, a vineyard in Berlin's Hallensee, which in 1991 opened
Beautiful 1930s clothing can be hard to find (as in the last century, some pieces are starting to fade) but Pelzer and Zopec can get their hands on some rare metals. They build a network of people, mostly in Germany, but sometimes in the United States, to get the products. The hottest trends are 1950s blouses made of wool, cotton or silk, sharp scarves and 1930s evening dresses, which are an explosion of crepe colors.

In January 1985, one-time saleswoman Katharina Goris bought Spitz, a Berlin agency. Taking time off from her career as an opera singer, she entered the world of vintage fashion for a mid-19th century collection. . Here you will find a wide variety of fabrics, from light as feather charmeuse, to off-the-shoulder dresses in silk, wool, velvet and fine cotton. Although the mix of the 1950s and 60s is not Gorse's style, she still appreciates something special from that time, such as the fashion-defying dark blue velvet dress.
Prices vary according to season, craft and clothing: shirts start at around €30, or men can go with a 1930s suit in navy blue and smart checks. Goris also has a number of male hats outside of film noir. Women who look to the Roaring Twenties are distinguished by green dresses with velvet flowers. There's something for the whole family (Spitze caters even for older children) but Goris' main customers are fashion designers. there is nothing
